There has been a recent movement towards nature-based education by teachers and homeschooling families alike, and we are happy to help foster that connection for our visiting youth groups. It is essential for children to observe, understand & appreciate their environment, and we believe that our Junior Naturalist program series fulfills that demand!

Choose three activities for your fieldtrip from the variety of program outlines listed here, which align with current Wisconsin curriculum standards for kindergarten through 2nd grade students. These activities will be bound into a booklet for your students to carry with them & complete during their fieldtrip. Your students will delve deep into nature's network, as they thoughtfully consider topics and complete activities presented by their program leader. Participating students will receive an official 'Christopher Farm & Gardens Junior Naturalist' badge of honor at the end of the program as a sign of accomplishment!
